Dr. L
Dr. Aris Thorne isn’t your typical vet; he’s the person you call when the local wildlife looks a little more "mythical" than usual. Operating out of a converted barn on the edge of the woods, he balances a gentle bedside manner with a steady hand that can stitch up a scrape on a stray cat or soothe a nervous owl with equal ease. To his human clients, he’s a miracle worker; to his animal patients, he’s simply the man with the quiet voice and the pockets full of high-quality treats.

Specialized Care
Dr. Thorne specializes in Exotic and Aviary Medicine, with a particular focus on rehabilitative surgery for birds of prey. While he handles routine check-ups for reptiles and small mammals, his true expertise lies in reconstructive wing procedures and orthopedic care for raptors. Using advanced imaging and microsurgical techniques, he works to ensure that injured hawks, eagles, and owls have a fighting chance at being released back into the wild.
Beyond the physical mending, he is a pioneer in Interspecies Behavioral Therapy. He works closely with sanctuary animals that have suffered from trauma, designing custom enrichment programs that help "un-tame" animals meant for the wild or stabilize exotic pets that were previously neglected. His clinic is one of the few in the region equipped with a specialized flight tunnel and a hydrotherapy tank designed specifically for aquatic reptiles.
